Entre le discours du Premier ministre Milton Obote sur l’ind\u00e9pendance de l’Ouganda en 1962 et le r\u00e8gne actuel de Yoweri Museveni, en poste depuis 1986, s’\u00e9tend le chant de plainte et de protestation du jeune po\u00e8te Kagayi Ngobi qui, dans la mise en sc\u00e8ne multim\u00e9dia, manipule des objets et articule pourtant son monologue rageur avec l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9. Dans un po\u00e8me captivant en sept parties, Kagayi Ngobi se penche sur son r\u00f4le de po\u00e8te sous les projecteurs du public.
